January 20-30, 2019 18 students and Prof. QIAN ZHIQI from Sichuan University (China) visited Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University n.a. R.E. Alekseev. The visit took place in the framework of Russian-Chinese University Alliance of the Volga Federal District and the Upper and Middle Reaches of the Yangtze River.
During their stay in Nizhny Novgorod Chinese guests visited numerous city museums, "Ariel" factory where unique Christmas-tree decorations are created, Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University n.a. R.E. Alekseev and its research laboratories, met with Rector Prof. Sergey Dmitriev and NNSTU students and took part in different events.
NNSTU first vice-rector Mikhail Shiriaev came to the final meeting with Chinese students. He warmly welcomed the guests and expressed confidence that such meetings would help young people to work together on large projects in the future. He also announced plans to make exchange of students between Nizhny Novgorod Technical University n.a. R.E. Alekseev and Sichuan University traditional.
