Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University n.a. R.E. Alekseev (NNSTU) is one of the oldest and biggest universities of the Russian Federation.

The university cooperates with the leading international institutes and enterprises, among which are: Nuclear Power Institute of China, Knorr-Bremse (Hungary), Liebherr (Germany), LIMO GmbH (Germany), RDW (The Netherlands), etc.

Owing to its favorable location, Nizhny Novgorod has been a great trading and cultural centre for many centuries.
