For NNSTU foreign students numerous cultural events are regularly held: city tours, language days, freshman days, visits to theaters and museums, competitions, friendship evenings, festivals, national holidays, days of acquaintance with national cultures.
They participate in city, regional and all-Russian Olympiads and festivals for foreign students. NNSTU foreign students take part in exhibitions and scientific and creativity competitions.
NNSTU annually organizes the city interuniversity mini-football and table tennis tournament among foreign students of Nizhny Novgorod.
Different sports activities for NNSTU foreign students are also organized: football, basketball, volleyball, athletics, weightlifting, gym workouts and skiing.
