In September, 2024 the XIII Forum of Universities of the Engineering and Technological Profile of the Union State was held at NNSTU. The Forum was held for the thirteenth time, but for the first time in Russia, previously it was held in the Republic of Belarus.
The Forum brought together the representatives of Russian and Belarusian technical universities and became the basic platform for analyzing trends of engineering education in the Union State.
The Forum combined several priority areas, including: scientific, technical and innovative activities, development of engineering education, youth innovative entrepreneurship, engineering careers and youth policy.
The guests from the Republic of Belarus and the representatives of numerous Russian universities exchanged experience in the field of engineering education, discussed new opportunities for developing engineering personnel, innovative technologies and strengthening close relationships between universities.
Besides, during the Forum options for solving problems of ecology, labor protection, industrial safety and improving the quality of life were proposed. Within the framework of the section "The Best Youth Startup of the Union State" the competition of youth innovative projects was held.
