The World Youth Festival was held in March, 2024 on the federal territory of Sirius in order to develop international youth cooperation. It was attended by 20,000 young leaders from 190 countries that represented various fields: sports, media, science, business, volunteering, charity, education, culture and etc.
The guests of the festival took part in different master classes, discussions, panel sessions and trainings.
The delegation from the Nizhny Novgorod region which numbered 180 people included some representatives of Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University. The young scientists presented their projects at the exhibition "We are the Future" which took place during the festival.
NNSTU foreign students from Turkmenistan, Algeria, Tanzania and Mozambique performed at the opening and closing ceremonies of the festival as part of the consolidated international choir.
