In December, 2021 the representatives of the Nizhny Novgorod region and the Chinese province of Anhui discussed the results of their joint work during the past year online.
The speakers noted a significant increase in trade volumes of the Nizhny Novgorod region with China, including thanks to export-import operations with the partner province.
The First Vice-rector - Vice-rector for educational activities Yevgeny G. Ivashkin, who represented NNSTU, noted in his speech that Russian-Chinese University Alliance of the Volga Federal District and the Upper and Middle Reaches of the Yangtze River plays an important role in development of this cooperation. He also said that NNSTU is ready to offer a wide range of educational programs that may be of mutual interest to both parties.
Yevgeny Ivashkin expressed confidence that this cooperation will develop, and when the epidemic situation improves, our students will come to Chinese universities, and students from China - to universities of Nizhny Novgorod.
