Head of NNSTU Department of Metallurgical Technologies and Equipment Prof. Leushin, Prof. Korovin and the students visited the Republic of Belarus. They took part in the International Scientific and Technical Conference and Exhibition "Foundry and Metallurgy 2025. Belarus", which was held in Minsk.
NNSTU representatives presented their reports, attended all the events, learned about current trends in foundry and metallurgy development in Belarus, Russia and Uzbekistan, including modern casting and heat treatment technologies, digitalization of production processes, energy-efficient melting methods and quality management of metal alloys.
At the exhibition the participants saw the latest equipment and innovative materials presented by the leading Belarusian companies that helped them not only to broaden their horizons but also to establish useful professional contacts for future collaboration.
For NNSTU students the conference gave opportunities to attend different thematic sessions and assess development prospects of the metallurgical industry. It strengthened their motivation for education and research.
