The meeting between NNSTU representatives and the delegation from Anhui Province (China) was held at Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University.
NNSTU Rector Prof. Dmitriev presented the main areas of educational activities of the university and the most significant projects, implemented within the framework of the federal programs "Priority 2030" and "Schools of Advanced Engineering Studies". He also emphasized the significant role of Russian-Chinese University Alliance of the Volga Federal District and the Upper and Middle Reaches of the Yangtze River in cooperation between Russian and Chinese universities.
The head of the Chinese delegation, director of the Anhui Provincial Department of Education Prof. Qian Guilun noted that he and his colleagues were especially pleased to visit the Nizhny Novgorod Region in the year of the 75th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Moscow and Beijing. He outlined a number of possible areas for joint educational programs and research projects with NNSTU.
As a result of the meeting, its participants confirmed their mutual interest in developing and expanding cooperation between universities in the two regions and agreed to specify its possible forms which will become the starting point for implementation of joint projects.
