Rector of Tashkent State Transport University Odil Abdurakhmanov visited Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University n.a. R.E. Alekseev. This was the first visit of the head of the partner university after signing the joint cooperation agreement. The document was signed in April, 2022 during the visit of the delegation from the Nizhny Novgorod region, headed by its Governor Gleb Nikitin, to Uzbekistan.
The agreement between Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University and Tashkent State Transport University provides for intensification of exchange of students and lecturers in the framework of training and internships, development of joint thematic educational programs, implementation of innovative projects in scientific fields, as well as holding of international conferences, symposiums, seminars.
During the visit Rector of Tashkent State Transport University noted that the experience of the Nizhny Novgorod region as an advanced industrial region, where transport engineering is developed, is very important for them. However, the university is also interested in developing cooperation with NNSTU in such areas as nuclear and electric power, chemistry, etc.
