In July, 2023 NNSTU delegation headed by Prof. Dmitriev visited the People’s Republic of China.
On the first day NNSTU representatives visited Nuclear Power Institute of China. The purpose of the meeting was signing of the framework agreement on cooperation, discussion of joint research and presentation of the new book by NNSTU employees "Technologies and basic equipment of circuits of reactor installations, industrial and research stands with lead-bismuth coolants" published in Chinese.
Then NNSTU delegation met with the colleagues from Sichuan University. The parties discussed scientific, technical and academic cooperation between two universities, development of cultural integration and possibilities of joint participation in the program of competitions for research projects with public funding. The special attention was paid to the issue of organizing the upcoming VI Forum of Russian-Chinese University Alliance of the Volga Federal District and the Upper and Middle Reaches of the Yangtze River.
Besides, during the visit to Liaodong University the joint undergraduate educational program "Computer Science and Technology" between two universities was presented. The program is aimed at preparing competitive engineering and technical personnel that meet international requirements who have solid foundations of knowledge in the field of computer technologies and practical computer engineering skills. The training will be organized on the basis of Liaodong University, where NNSTU lecturers will give lectures and conduct seminars for Chinese students.
