NNSTU students are winners of the international industry championship AtomSkills-2024

The IX international industry championship AtomSkills-2024 of State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom was held in Yekaterinburg.

Six days of the industry championship brought together about 2,000 people: employees and managers of ROSATOM, representatives of Russian industrial companies, students from 48 partner educational organizations. Teams from partner countries of ROSATOM also took part in the competition: Egypt, Bangladesh, Turkey, Belarus, India and Armenia. Representatives of China, Indonesia, South Africa, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan took part in the business program of the championship.

The championship participants competed in 42 competencies, with winners identified in each of them. All the championship competition tasks, criteria and evaluation parameters were prepared by experts in various fields in accordance with industry and international requirements for competencies.

For the first time the competition was divided into two leagues - "Main" and "Student" which was represented by students from 48 Russian colleges and universities, as well as students from the Bannari Amman Institute of Technology (India).

In the "Student League" the winner in the "Engineering Design" competency was the team that included students from Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University and Nizhny Novgorod State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering.

The key event of the business program was the panel session "Training Personnel for Technological Leadership" and the leitmotif of many discussions was resolving personnel issues in the context of modern challenges.
