NNSTU scientists’ invention was awarded by the gold medal of IPITEX international exhibition of intellectual property, inventions, innovations and technologies.

The large-scale authoritative exhibition event in the Asia-Pacific region which traditionally takes place in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, is focused on innovation commercialization and promotes international cooperation in the field of innovative development, transfer of advanced technologies and successful commercialization of intellectual property objects in the global market.

NNSTU team (Gramuzov E.M., Kalinina N.V., Dvoichenko Yu.A., Kurkin A.A.) presented the project "The control system of the ship’s power plant in severe ice conditions".

The development relates to the field of shipbuilding, in particular to operation of icebreakers and ice navigation vessels in severe ice conditions, when the thickness of the ice cover exceeds the limit, overcome by continuous running and movement has to be carried out by raids.

The invention is a system (device) that helps to use the optimal tactics of icebreaker movement in severe Arctic conditions, to automate work of navigators and at the same time to reduce operating costs.
