NNSTU retained its position in the ranking of the best universities in the world

The Times Higher Education rating agency published the ranking of the best universities in the world. The compilers included 2,092 universities in the ranking. This is 185 universities more than last year.

The Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2025 presents different universities from 115 countries of Europe, North America and Asia. This year, some new universities from Mongolia, Uzbekistan, Syria, Paraguay, Rwanda, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Bahrain are included in the list.

Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University once again entered the ranking of the best universities in the world. Along with 56 other Russian universities it occupies a place in the 1501+ group.

The new WUR 3.0 methodology used in the 21st edition of the ranking is based on 18 carefully calibrated indicators measuring institutional performance in five areas: teaching, research environment, research quality, industry focus and international perspective. This makes it one of the most robust and comprehensive tools for assessing global higher education.
