In December, 2025 the 11th General Assembly of the Regional Network for Education and Training in Nuclear Technology STAR-NET was held. Numerous representatives from 15 universities from 8 countries participated in the event.
The Assembly which took place online summarized STAR-NET activities in 2025 and developed proposals for further cooperation.
The meeting participants proposed focusing on the following in 2026:
• online events on current nuclear energy issues (webinars, conferences for young scientists and students);
• joint research projects;
• joint online learning courses and exchange of experience in using the learning platform, etc.
Prof. Dmitriev was re-elected to STAR-NET Presidium representing Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University - one of three Russian universities represented in STAR-NET.
