NNSTU representatives took part in the 10th IEEE Conference on Energy Internet and Energy System Integration (IEEE EI² 2026)

The 10th IEEE Conference on Energy Internet and Energy System Integration (IEEE EI² 2026) took place in Shanghai (China). The event was organized by IEEE Power and Energy Society, Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering, Shanghai University of Electric Power, Taiyuan University of Technology and Tsinghua University. It brought together numerous leading experts and researchers in the fields of electric power engineering and artificial intelligence from around the world.

IEEE EI² is the most influential annual academic event in the field of Internet of Energy. In 2026, the conference brought together over 1,000 specialists from more than 20 countries. This time the conference was focused on development of low-carbon power engineering and implementation of artificial intelligence technologies. The most significant attention was paid to smart grid technologies and innovative solutions for integrating energy sources into the power system to shape the energy sector of the future. The aim of the event was to advance adoption of artificial intelligence in the energy sector, improve energy efficiency and ensure sustainable development of the industry.

The staff members of NNSTU Institute of Electric Power Engineering Andrey Shalukho and Ivan Lipuzhin took part in the conference. They delivered their presentations at the China-Russia Energy System Forum. It was focused on Sino-Russian cooperation in the field of electric power engineering and was organized with the support of Northeast Electric Power University (Jilin, China).
