NNSTU representatives participated in the IAEA technical meeting in Vienna

The IAEA - the International Atomic Energy Agency - is a global center for cooperation in the nuclear field, promoting the use of safe, reliable and peaceful nuclear technologies.

 

The meeting which took place in October, 2024 at the IAEA headquarters in Vienna brought together more than 70 participants from 26 countries. During the week, the representatives of numerous international networks, national educational organizations and universities discussed the topical issues of nuclear education.

Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University was represented by:

  • Alexander Khrobostov - vice-rector for development programs;
  • Maxim Legchanov - director of the Institute of Nuclear Power Engineering and Applied Physics;
  • Alexander Dobrov - senior researcher of the Research Laboratory of Thermal Hydraulics of Nuclear Power Plants.

During the meeting the plan for joint work for the next year was developed.
