The 16th Delegate Assembly (DA) of the European Young Chemists’ Network (EYCN) was held online in 2021. NNSTU scientist Tatiana Sazanova promoted interests of the youth department of Russian Chemical Society n.a. D.I. Mendeleev.
During the EYCN DA numerous issues related to development of mobility of young scientists, identification of the most important areas for development of chemistry (for example, food chemistry), popularization of chemical science among schoolchildren, strengthening of ties between various scientific schools of the world, organization of events to support talented youth were discussed.
Besides, election of new members of the EYCN Management Board took place, which is held every 2 years.
