In October, 2020 at the Government House in Moscow a solemn ceremony was held to present the awards of the Government of the Russian Federation in the field of education. The awards were presented by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
Among those who awarded the title of laureates was Rector of Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University n.a. R.E. Alekseev Prof. Sergey Dmitriev. He received the government award for creation of high-quality educational publications for the education system of the Russian Federation - a set of textbooks and reference literature for training specialists in institutions of higher education in the field of ''Technosphere Safety''.
38 people became the winners in 2020, among them were the authors of textbooks, methodological materials and reference literature. The award was given to works on arts and crafts, training and personalization of education, training programs for compatriots living abroad, labor protection and radio engineering.
Accepting the award Prof. Dmitriev thanked Prime Minister and the Government of the Russian Federation for high appreciation of the work of the staff of Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University n.a. R.E. Alekseev. Rector said, ''Our work is dedicated to creation of high-quality textbooks and teaching aids which are necessary for university students, scientific and technical workers, for design of modern production facilities, including chemical and energy ones. The textbooks are republished in Chinese and English, they are distributed in the countries of "Rosatom" presence. This is our contribution to implementation of ''Export of Russian Education'' program.
