The meeting of the 7th STAR-NET General Assembly was held online. The Assembly was attended by 44 representatives from 12 universities of Russia, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Poland and Kazakhstan and the IAEA. The work results over the past year were summed up, the work directions for the next year were determined and the governing bodies of the STAR-NET were selected. NNSTU Rector Prof. Dmitriev got re-elected to the STAR-NET Presidium. Director of NNSTU Institute of Nuclear Power Engineering and Applied Physics Prof. Khrobostov became its auditor.
The representatives of the universities shared the experience gained in solving the problems of education and professional training of specialists for the nuclear industry. Many universities have established cooperation with leading enterprises, on the basis of which this work is carried out, international exchange of students and lecturers is practiced, textbooks related to education in the field of nuclear technology are prepared.
