The International Exhibition "Autonomous Power Sources" which has taken place in Moscow at the Central Exhibition Complex "Expocentre" is the annual largest venue where numerous achievements of domestic and global manufacturers of current sources, technological equipment, materials and components for their production are reviewed.
Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University was represented by Andrey Shalukho (head of NNSTU Youth Research Laboratory of Advanced Energy Storage Systems) and Dmitry Alyoshin (junior researcher).
Dmitry Alyoshin made a report on the developments of the Youth Research Laboratory. He spoke about the solutions of Nizhny Novgorod scientists to create domestic systems for balancing and controlling lithium-ion batteries based on adaptive control algorithms with improved balancing indicators. Balancing and control systems are necessary parts of electric power storage devices based on electrochemical batteries. The main directions of development of such systems are related to development of more efficient control algorithms, improving balancing accuracy and reducing energy consumption.
