Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University entered The Times Higher Education Emerging Economies University Rankings 2022 for the first time. The university took a position in the group 501+ .
In total, 60 Russian universities are represented in the new rating which is 12 more than last year.
The Times Higher Education Emerging Economies University Rankings 2022 includes only universities in countries that are classified by the FTSE Group of London Stock Exchange as “advanced emerging”, “secondary emerging” or “frontier”.
The ranking uses the same 13 performance indicators as THE World University Rankings which measure institutions in terms of teaching, research, knowledge transfer and international perspectives. However, these indicators have different weights, reflecting development priorities of universities in emerging economies.
