As part of the cooperation agreement between NNSTU and Liaodong University, Professor of NNSTU Department of Digital Economics Pavel Zakharov and Associate Professor of NNSTU Department of Computer Science and Control Systems Mikhail Martynyuk gave lectures to Chinese students on disciplines “Discrete Mathematics” and “Basic Programming”. The classes were held from October 26 to December 11, 2023. The teaching was conducted in English. Chinese lecturers acted as assistants for the courses. Before the educational process Russian and Chinese colleagues had the detailed discussion of the goals, content and teaching methods of the training courses. Chinese students demonstrated high motivation in mastering academic disciplines and showed high results in the final exam. The implementation of this project is the first practical step of the cooperation between NNSTU and Liaodong University.
