Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University n.a. R.E. Alekseev is again included in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings.
The 19th edition of the ranking has become more representative: it ranks 1799 universities from 104 countries. Among them are 103 Russian universities, which is almost twice as many as last year.
The ranking is built around 13 criteria grouped into five categories (education, research, citation, internationalization, innovations) that judge institutions in terms of teaching, research, knowledge transfer and international perspectives. However, these indicators have different weights which reflect development priorities of universities. The general ranking of universities and subject rankings in areas of study are compiled.
