Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University entered the THE World University Rankings. It features 2,297 universities from 118 countries. Compared to the previous year, the number of universities included increased from 2,191 to 2,297 and the number of countries increased from 115 to 118. The current edition of the global ranking contains 80 Russian universities.
The Times Higher Education rating agency uses its own methodology and evaluates all the universities in five areas: Teaching (the learning environment); Research environment (volume, income and reputation); Research quality (citation impact, research strength, research excellence and research influence); International outlook (staff, students and research); Industry (income and patents).
