The largest engineering university of the Republic of Belarus - Belarusian National Technical University (BNTU) celebrated the 100th anniversary of its foundation. In December, 2020 Minsk hosted a solemn meeting of the university staff dedicated to the anniversary.
President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko congratulated BNTU on this significant date and presented the university with the Order of Labor Glory. BNTU got the award for its significant contribution to development of engineering and technical education, scientific research in the field of mechanical engineering, energetics, construction and architecture, introduction of new modern technologies, training of scientific personnel.
NNSTU delegation took part in the events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of BNTU. Our university was represented by Rector Sergey Dmitriev and the first Vice-rector Evgeny Ivashkin.
Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University n.a. R.E. Alekseev and Belarusian National Technical University have long-term fruitful cooperation. They are co-organizers of the Forum of the universities of the engineering and technological profile of the Union State, carry out academic exchanges, cooperate in the field of training personnel for nuclear power engineering of the Republic of Belarus.
In his speech Prof. Dmitriev wished Belarusian National Technical University prosperity and success in implementation of the main directions of Belarusian-Russian integration cooperation in priority areas.
