Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University and Hebei College of Mechanical and Electrical Technologies (China) began implementing the joint educational program.
The cooperation agreement provides for joint activities in personnel training, development of academic collaboration and implementation of advanced educational resources and teaching methods. According to the three-year educational program developed by the Parties, Chinese students study all the required subjects in their native language at the college, while simultaneously mastering the Russian language and the disciplines of NNSTU curriculum. The classes are taught in Russian by NNSTU lecturers.
Two NNSTU disciplines of the first semester were taught in Xingtai (Hebei Province) by Daniil Gusev and Natalya Ibo.
Daniil Gusev conducted a number of lectures and practical classes on «Electrical Engineering and Electronics», where the students learned the basics of electrical engineering and electronics.
Natalya Ibo conducted a number of lectures and practical classes on «Russian as a Foreign Language», during which the students learned its basic grammar, phonetics and some vocabulary.
NNSTU lecturers got acquainted with the Chinese education system, teaching methods and scientific approaches in the new academic environment, which helped them to develop intercultural competencies and professional skills.
