The delegation from Anqing Normal University (China) headed by its Rector Prof. Peng Fenglian visited Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University n.a. R.E. Alekseev. The purpose of the visit was to discuss cooperation between the universities.
During the negotiations Prof. Dmitriev introduced to Chinese colleagues the main directions of NNSTU educational and scientific activities, its participation in the federal programs “Priority 2030” and “Schools of Advanced Engineering Studies” and also emphasized that the university is a co-founder of University Alliance “Volga-Yangtze”.
Prof. Peng Fenglian while representing Anqing Normal University noted that they have a wide range of areas related to technical disciplines and information technologies.
The result of the meeting was the signed agreement on cooperation in educational and scientific fields between the two universities. The parties are going to conduct joint scientific research to improve training of highly qualified specialists and exchange experience in various areas of mutual interest.
The guests also visited one of NNSTU laboratories and the historical and patriotic center, where they became acquainted with the main milestones in the history of the university.
