«Small nuclear power plants» master’s program is a new program, graduates of which are ready to do research, engineering work and design in the field of nuclear power engineering, including the subject of S&MP NPP (Small and Medium Power Nuclear Power Plants), have the necessary skills to analyze design and engineering documentation.
Program duration – 2 years, language of study – English.

Scientific activity develops in the following areas:

  • Conducting of computational and experimental studies of hydrodynamic and heat and mass transfer processes in NPP;
  • Study of features of coolant flows in NPP elements in order to obtain representative data for verification and adaptation of three-dimensional thermal hydraulic calculation programs;
  • Conducting of experimental studies of thermal-hydraulic characteristics of elements of high-temperature gas-cooled reactors;
  • Study of scientific and technical solutions for creation of equipment for domestic fast neutron reactors;
  • Substantiation of methods of acoustic diagnostics and modeling of processes in nuclear engineering and fuel transport systems;
  • Conducting of research and development in the field of microwave electrodynamics.
