Scientific activity is aimed at developing energy-efficient and energy-saving technologies, including smart grid technologies, new and renewable energy sources, highly efficient electric drives, converters of electrical energy parameters and energy storage systems.

The following scientific research is conducted:

  • Development of hybrid autonomous power plants, including those based on new and renewable energy sources, as well as hydrogen;
  • Development of converters of electrical energy parameters;
  • Development of highly efficient adjustable electric drives for various purposes;
  • Development of methods and means of digital relay protection and automation;
  • Development of intelligent semiconductor devices for controlling parameters of distribution electrical networks;
  • Development of electrical energy storage systems for powering consumers with special technological process modes;
  • Development of uninterruptible power supplies for loads of various capacities;
  • Development of switched mode power supplies;
  • Development and design of non-standard electrical machines;
  • Development of microprocessor control systems for technological objects;
  • Development of vibration protection systems for electromechanical and industrial facilities;
  • Development of technologies to improve energy and resource efficiency in industry, agriculture and housing and communal services.
