In December, 2021 the X Forum of Universities of the Engineering and Technology Profile of the Union State was held at Belarusian National Technical University.
BNTU brought together scientists, young specialists, statesmen, high-level experts to exchange knowledge and solutions to strategic tasks in the fields of education, innovative entrepreneurship and science.
The main goals of the Forum were to popularize engineering education, support talented young people and create the interuniversity platform for cooperation in priority areas of scientific and technological development. This year, the central discussion took place around the topic "Science and Education in Environmental Engineering".
The Forum was attended by about 200 representatives of leading universities in Belarus, Russia and the other CIS countries, as well as the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and Belarusian enterprises.
NNSTU was represented by Vice-Rector for economics Svetlana Obydennova and Director of Institute of Nuclear Power Engineering and Applied Physics Alexander Khrobostov.
