January 25 – 26, 2017 NNSTU delegation headed by Rector Sergey Dmitriev and first vice-rector Mikhail Shiriaev visited Czech Republic.
The main aim of the trip was to visit Brno University of Technology. Czech colleagues informed NNSTU representatives about educational and scientific activities of their university. Sergey Dmitriev noted that the universities have a lot in common and it will help to start working as soon as possible.
The parties signed a protocol where concrete areas of cooperation were defined. It was determined that working groups of experts in the fields of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, material science, information technologies and communications, chemistry and chemical engineering will be formed.
One of the most promising and interesting directions for both universities is nuclear power engineering. Cooperation in this sphere can be very useful for development of Brno University of Technology and for international relations in the field of nuclear power engineering.
Intercollegiate innovative technology park equipped with the most modern equipment for carrying out research on a global level in the fields of material science, nanotechnologies, microelectronics was demonstrated to NNSTU representatives.
NNSTU delegation also visited the plant of ALTA - one of the leading and largest industrial and engineering companies. The parties confirmed the intention to develop cooperation in the sphere of training personnel for work in Russia with the equipment created at Russian enterprises with participation of ALTA.
